So, the car handle got fixed and I made my way down to Chicago yesterday.
My brother, sister-in-law and some friends took me to Cafe Iberico for a belated birthday dinner, which was very good. I’ve been eating so well this week. Fave items were the goat cheese dip, the mussels, and the shrimp sausage pie. Dessert was assorted items at Kafein.
Now I’m about to hit the road again. We’re going to Cleveland this weekend to visit Sheila’s parents. Hopefully the 4 hours on the road will give me a chance to get the first draft of my new short story written.
So,I’ll be back on Sunday.
