Everyone and their cousin’s dog has written a Jaguar install blog, so I don’t feel the need to add to the muck.
I will say that I lived dangerously and just did an upgrade instead of an “Archive and Install” or a full inititalization and install. And it looks great, and is less filling (by that, I mean less glacial on my iBook 500). So, I’m taking the opportunity of installation to switch up some other things, like my browser (now I’m using Chimera).
In other geek news, I went to Best Buy today to pick up SOCOM only to find out that it’s not coming out until Thursday. Or tomorrow. I’m really not sure when. Not like I have much to do, so I’ll probably go out tomorrow to see if it came in. I know it hits EB tomorrow, since I was calling them about the network adapter and they were very curt, yet informative.
So, I have one new toy to play with. I’m a Jaguar fan, although I wish that I knew more about the underpinnings involved with development so that I could help with fink. I was browsing CSS books in Barnes and Noble this morning, trying to memorize stuff since I didn’t want to pay 45$ for the book. There must be a better way.
I’m still uncertain if I should buckle down on PHP or CSS first. So in the meantime, I’m not doing much productive work on either. Sigh.
