New Death Thing

New Endless Thing

Yay! Saw these linked on Neil Gaiman’s blog. Looks cool, although I’m not sure what’s up w/ the At Death’s Door thing having the same scene as the beginning of Seasons of Mists… I’m sure all will be revealed in 11 months… at which time I’m going to […]

Alkulukuja Paskova Karhu

I am amazed by how cool this is. Contrary to my usual web-attention-span-of-gnat-poo, this page has sat open for 3 minutes now (there’s a counter). It supposedly only works in IE5+ or Mozilla, but if you don’t have either of those, I’d say give it a try anyway.

Math is cool!

Waaa

( My Day )

I have 768 words left to go for tonight and i’m drained. I wrote a lot today in order to catch up but it doesn’t matter. Days go on and that 2K thing just keeps coming back, back back!

I’d like to just say, “Well, I’m ahead of schedule if I want to finish […]

Bebop Photoshop Wars!

I really liked a lot of these. Unfortunately, I have forgotten which ones were my faves. If you’re a Bebop fan, you need to see this page.

ABCNEWS.com : Reign of Squirrel ‘Terror’ Over

This story brings back two strong memories. The first is the squirrels that rule the quads at Northwestern. When I was at nerd camp, they always warned us never to feed or taunt the squirrels. My brother went to CTD as well and when he’d call his […]

Functional Laundry

( My Day )

Aagh! I was going to cocoon myself at Unicorn today to catch up on the 1500 words I’m behind on my NaNo novel. See, Mira’s in town again for training. So last night we went to the Hopleaf for drinks (and I got to meet her guy, who is also in town). […]

Apple - PowerBook

New Apple laptops announced today! Before I knew about the superdrive, I was all about aniBook to replace my current one (since I need more MHz to run Fireworks and Flash at the same time: those suckers use up 20% CPU, even in the background). I even sort of budgeted for […]

Freakin’ Pest

( My Day )

So, I just killed this huge silverfish crawling up my wall to hide behind my whiteboard. I saw it, and my body went into fight or flight mode, even though the thing is way smaller than I am. Maybe cuz it’s much creepier.

Anyway, I kept an eye on it and thought about pinching […]

Wired News: Climbers Rock on Wall of Lights

Anyone have $10,000?

Contrary to popular Kipinion, I’m not a complete lump. I like climbing because it seems like a good thing to know. I’m into sports that stem from survival activities like swimming away from sharks or running from tigers or… climbing away from monkeys. […]

Students go from A’s to Zzzzzzzzz’s

Either study hall or free periods… Ahh, the senior section of the library. Fond memories of high school. In college, I had huge problems staying awake for entire class periods. The ten minute nap in the middle right after the teacher finishes the first example is […]
