Gizmodo : Sprint’s unlimited data service has a catch

I was all excited about the prospect of getting a new Sprint phone in February when my current contract expires for exactly this application: now I find out they’re cracking down.

My friend Conrad showed me his Ti hooked up to a Sprint phone, cheerfully getting wireless access at Unicorn sans 802.11b and I was convinced that I should get whatever Bluetooth offering Sprint comes out with in the next 3 months. If they were just stopping the data cord sales this would still be a viable option. But their hidden “we can cut you off” clause sorta kills that idea.

Just when I think a company’s offering is too good to be true, it is.
