I was wrong.

So, in the entry where I talked about Macworld being something to gloss over… that was just the talk of a kid who’d been burnt by the one Macworld Keynote he sort of attended (the summer I was in Cupertino, and we saw it in Town Hall). That one was terrible.

This one was amazing.

No new iPods, which I’d been hoping for, but the new PowerBooks are rockstars. I’m a big fan of both sizes although those who know me could probably guess that the 12 inch model reached in and grabbed right hold of my heart. If only it had DVI for external monitor. Anyway, I think that replacing my trusty iBook with a slimmer metal one is a good idea. I’m going to need to work a bit to get it, so I’m thinking by June or July, this line will get speed bumped. Well, I’ll take whatever 12 inch PowerBook is out at that time.

So, Sweet Bippy (my iBook 500) will have to last until then. pat pat.

As for the other stuff, Safari was interesting to try out. I’m still on Chimera, due to tabbed goodness which I can simply not give up. From the looks of things, a lot of other people are doing the same. Mmm, tabs.

Finally, where is iTunes Rendezvous playlist sharing? Oh, wait, it’s in Whamb. Now I just need to get Rendezvous working on my PC so I can listen to all that music on my Mac. I got it to compile, but it wouldn’t link. :-(
