I don’t know about you guys, but March just creeps up on me. I guess it’s February’s fault, but still… yeesh.
Big news on the comic strip front: I’ve completed 2 (TWO!) strips on my lonesome. Just 100 more and I’ll be ready to launch. Just kidding. I’ve got it so that it takes about 4 hours to make a strip, probably I can get that down to 2-3 hours once I really build up an image library of common objects (these times don’t take into account the script writing which is either delightfully easy or horrendously painful).
I’m going to finish two more strips and then work on the PHP backend which will power Bull and Bunny. Who knows, maybe I’ll update the kipster.org main page while I’m at it!
In other news, I met El’s father on Saturday. He took El, her roommate and I out to dinner and then El and he and I went for a drink at Prairie Moon, where I found out that even if someone has a parent present, the bar will still not serve them. Wacky, huh? Dinner was kinda intimidating, as I had a bowl and a half of noodles in front of me that I was trying to eat gracefully while answering but drinks went much better. No wonder people take other people out for drinks. Anyway, he’s left handed too. I should’ve said something about it.
In other news, I still have to do my taxes. I’m waiting on a W-2 from one of my employers who is not responding to jack crap. Found out that it’s due to the company going Ch 7 Bankrupt (thank the higher power that I got more gainful employment…) So… not sure what to do about that. Kuwie found out for me that there’s a creditor’s meeting on Wed, so perhaps I’ll go down to that.
