Storytelling Night: Intro

Posted on Wednesday 12 November 2003

So I had my featured night last night at Uncommon Ground. Now that it’s over, I feel like this massive burden’s been lifted. That makes it seem like I was dreading telling (and I admit, I had a couple nightmares about the whole thing in the nights leading up to the performance). But I’m so grateful that everything went off without a hitch.

My parents and sister came down from Milwaukee, got there early even. El and I drove down, as did my brother and Jen. And my roommates Adam and Todd came, with Matt from work, Prashant and Hunter from ResNet. And other random people who were nice enough to come: my brother’s boss and his friend, fellow NU storyteller Jonathan. Not a lot of the community was there. Maybe Veteran’s Day is some storyteller holiday or something.

So, anyway, to make up for being so lax with the blogging and comicing the past couple weeks, I thought I’d post up the stories I told, in order, one per day. Enjoy.
