I’ve been eating so much this weekend that my stomach has stopped craving anything. Which is sad, because I have this pandan cake from my Auntie Eliza just sitting in a container, wanting to be eaten… and I can’t. Sigh.
I’ve been a total transport bitch in the past two days. Picked up El from the airport last night in this nasty foggy rain, drove Sil to the airport this morning, and I’m picking up Adam later today from the train.
Of course, I volunteered for all this, so I really can’t complain. But I don’t think I should have to clean the bathroom today because of it. Some sort of karmic balance, right? Sigh. I have to clean the bathroom. Bleah.
Woke up this morning to get Sil in Oakbrook (why did it make sense to drive 40 minutes to drive her 20 minutes to the airport? I dunno.). Got in the door and got a heaping plate of fried rice placed in front me by her mother. So, I was trying to quip with her family while shovelling my mouth full of this rice. Yeesh.
Now I’m back and I have to clean the bathroom (guess what’s on my mind today?). I bought book 4 of Y and also Watchmen (I figure I’d better see it before they make a horrible movie out of it a la LXG).
