I just got a roomate who brought a cat and a Roomba.

It's awesome (the Roomba, not the cat). It has a little trouble with the rug fringe, but it will do my entire 1000 sq ft. apartment and then find it's way home. The vacuum is powerful and it's more entertaining then the cat.

So, it's here, but it needs to charge. I'm scurrying around picking up stuff in the main room in preparation (which is kinda funny, kinda like cleaning before the maid comes) but that's a good thing since I'm leaving tomorrow anyway. I hope it finishes in 3 hours and not the 16 hours that it could take (some new software upgrade on it for conditioning the battery).
