See, a large chunk of my life since Xmas has been spent playing World of Warcraft, a finely brewed digital crack. From the number of people who have been logging on even from Macworld's exhibit floor, I can see that I'm not the only one.
Anyway, I'd never played one of these until now, so much of the lingo (my fave is "aggro": making someone mad at you) was totally new to me.
So El will ask me what I'm up to and I'll try to turn the events of the game into a compelling story (the Penny Arcade folks go so far as to make up little backstories for their characters). Not sure if I make it compelling at all, but she listens and asks questions and doesn't make me feel like I'm just pouring time into a vast sinkhole.
I have a lvl 24 dwarven hunter named Falstad on the Bronzebeard server. Look me up sometime if you wanna go a'questing.
