El and I went to DSW over the weekend and I scored some clearance sneakers for $30. I just need some running shorts and that ever elusive iPod Shuffle, and I'll be set.
I figure that if I start slow and gradually speed up to my old high school 2 mile time, I'll be in pretty good shape.
I'm getting old... sigh. I finally came to the realization that I gained an inch on the waist and 1/2 of my pants are too tight. Also, oddly enough, during my week of gastroenteritis, I didn't lose any weight. I mean, seriously, what does it take?

It takes burning more calories than you consume. That's all.
