I've only flown Southwest twice, and while I don't really mind lining up early, I do feel like a lemming. It's such an arms race. If people would just wait a bit. Travel in general is a lot of waiting and lines. One thing I never get is how airlines handle seating groups. Not for first class and high mileage people, those make sense. But beyond that, I just don't get it. What's wrong with loading from the back? As it is, people in group 4 seating just have to line up again while the group 2's are there so that there's space left in the overhead bins. Lines. Cattle. Yeesh.

My flight to Orlando on Wednesday did have the most kids on it I've ever seen (duh, Disney), but I did get to sit in the exit row. Lots of room. Nice...
